Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA)

For beginner through advanced riders from the Vanderbilt University student community. 

 

As an IHSA team, all horses, equipment, training, & transportation is provided by the program based approximately 30 minutes from campus in Franklin, TN.

Quick Facts

A Tennessee based 501c3 entity & registered Vanderbilt University Student Organization (Club Team) that holds open tryouts

at the start of the fall semester

Governed by an alumni board that works closely with student leadership to manage team operations and provide a meaningful experience for current students

​

Funded by club dues, plus the generous support of community donors & sponsors

 The mission of the IHSA is to provide equestrian competition for all college and university students regardless of riding level, gender, race, sexual orientation or financial status. The IHSA is dedicated to promoting sportsmanship, horsemanship and academic excellence.
